Hello, all friends,

Wuhan University Alumni Association (U.S. Midwest Chapter) and Hubei
Folks Association are announcing their joint annual picnic at Argonne
Park of Argonne National Laboratory, southwest suburb of Chicago, IL
on Sunday July 23, 2000 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

All people related to Wuhan University, Wuhan Technical University
of Surveying and Mapping (WuChe), Wuhan University of Hydraulic and
Electric Engineering (ShuiYuan) and Hubei Medical University (HuYi),
and Hubei Province, and their families and friends are welcome to
join us.

These universities have joined Wuhan University to shape a greater
Wuhan University. We expect our honorable Wuhan University to
continue its history of brilliance and pride.

At this gathering, we will elect next term of Council and President
for Wuhan University Alumni Association (US Midwest Chapter). If you
are interested to provide service for our alumni and to increase your

DRIVING DIRECTION:
Go to I-55 (Stevenson) from all directions. Exit to South Cass Avenue
(about 25 miles from Chicago downtown). Drive on Cass Avenue for about
1 mile south of I-55, you will see a sign and the entrance to Argonne
Park at your left side. You also see two small buildings about 300
yards away from Cass Ave in the front of the park.

CAUTION:
The sign of Argonne National Laboratory and the North Gate Road you
first see on the west side of Cass Avenue (your right side) immediately
after you get off from I-55 is to the laboratory, not to the park.
