Brand Manager Passenger Cars (Wuhan) Behr GmbH & Co KG is one of the world’s leading suppliers of automotive air conditioning and engine cooling products for passenger cars and trucks. Worldwide they achieved a turnover of about 3.05 billion Euro in 2004 and they employ about 17000 people worldwide. In China they have besides their APAC HQ, 3 JV’s in Shanghai (2) and Wuhan (1) for the development, production and marketing of their products. Position The Brand Manager will be responsible for the relationships with key decision makers within the automobile industry (Japanese Passenger Cars). This person will: - Provide the clients with product know-how, feature and benefit information, information about competitors and application solutions - Identify potential suppliers and evaluate new technologies - Write regular reports regarding progress of sales and action plans, distribution events and customer product/service needs - Actively support the other key departments with sales policies, pricing, advertising, specific market requirements and product and technology planning - Perform both internal and external business presentations as required The Brand Manager will be based in their JV in Wuhan but will report directly to the Chief Representative of the APAC HQ in Shanghai. The Brand Manager will get the opportunity to go to Germany to be trained in Behr’s state of the art products and project management systems. Requirements - B2B sales experience with proven project management skills in the automobile or mechanic industry - Ability to build relationships with key decision-makers within the automobile industry - Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills - Focused and high energy personality - Engineering or technical background - Mandarin/Japanese/English OR Mandarin/Japanese/German E-mail: recruitment @ behr-china . com Website: www.behrgroup.com
