Class 1979/1988 alumni photo gallery instructions

(2006/04/11) We have added automatic picture upload function. The following may only be used if you have difficulty using the automatic upload system.

Here are the instructions:

1. Name of Picture

Please name of your pictures starting with your last (family) name in Pinyin, then first name, then whatever, and end with the file type (like .jpg, which is usually added automatically). Seperate different parts with underscore '_'. For example, I would have something like

Cai_Yidao_christmas2004.jpg
Cai_Yidao_16.jpg
Cai_Yidao_12.jpg

Please do not use Chinese characters in file name.

2. Description of Pictures

Please put a short description of each picture. It can be in either Chinese or English, or both. Suggestions of some essential information: your name, class, where you are now. Please be creative, make it fun. This description will be displayed with the picture. For a layout, see http://www.hust.org/hust/pic/zzg2005/ or http://www.wuda-alumni.org/hbmu/pic/class1979reunion_2004/

3. Number of Pictures

We don't have a limit on the number of pictures, however, if we have too many pictures, we'll put one for each person on the main gallery page and put the rest on other pages. Please send 1-3 intially.

4. Size of Picture

You may send you pictures in their original size, we have a program to automatically reduce them to a size suitable for web display. We also plan to keep the original pictures on web page for sometime, for people who may want to make a print of his/her secret lover(s) in college.

5. Where to Send Pictures

Send your pictures and descriptions to yidao . cai @ gmail . com .
