>Date: Sat, 29 Jan 2000 21:30:40 -0500 Dear Fellow Alumni and friends: We have had a wonderful party as planned on Jan. 29, 2000 at Laurel, Maryland. About forty people from the D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia areas got together at Four Season's Buffet and celebrated in advance the Year of Dragon. I'm glad to hear and find out that our alumni have done so well and I sincerely hope we'll do even better in the years to come. I would like to take this opportunity to pass the duty of the President of the Association to our President Elect last year, Dr. Ye Shui-qing. I also want to thank our councilors He Wen-Zhe, Liu Shu-Quan, Tian Gang-Hong, Xiang Jia-Ning, and Xu Yan for their help in the past year. I would be happy to inform you that, as suggested by our members, we voted unanimously Tu Jian-Cheng as the new President-Elect. Congratulations! Finally, we all owe Yidao a great deal for his continuous effort and dedication to make our association running. Happy Spring Festival of the Year of Dragon and Good luck to every body! Ren Ke P.S. Attendees of January 29, 2000 party at Laurel, Maryland: First of all, Professor Zhong Lin-Sheng from the Hubei Medical University Dental School and Director Sun Chang-Fang from the Second Affiliated Hospital of HMU, while visiting their son, Zhong Shen, participated our party. We enjoyed taking this opportunity to directly communicate information about HMU and our friends. Wish them a good trip back home.
