Could you please send out via e-mail the following announcement listed below (and post it on the web as well) to all members of our association? After much deliberation with Xianxin and Ying-Hong, we finally decide to have the gathering on Saturday August 23 (the originally proposed Memorial Day long weekend does not work for many of the council members). Thank you. XJ Meng Hi members of the WUSMOAA, The Alumni Association of WUSMOAA is planning to have a formal gathering in the greater Washington DC area on August 23 (Saturday). The tentative plan for the gathering include a picnic (with other family-oriented activities in the park) on Saturday August 23 in a public park (from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM), followed by a dinner at a child-friendly restaurant (such a Chinese Buffet type of restaurant) from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. At this stage, we would like to know who plan to attend this gathering so that we can finalize the details and plan accordingly. A detailed schedule of activities will be sent to those who plan to attend at a later time. Please RSVP to Dr. Shen Zhong <zhong_shen @ hotmail . com> AND Dr. Ying-Hong Feng <yhfeng @ usuhs . edu> if you plan to attend by May 1. Please indicate how many people in your family will attend (numbers of adult and children) so that we can plan the appropriate activities. Thank you and look forward to seeing you in DC.
