1. Preparing and passing dental board Part I. You can get the info from www.ada.org. It may take you at least one year. The passing score is 75, but you should get at least 90 or higher. 2. Taking TOEFL. You should get at least 600(old model) or higher. 3. Trying to take and pass dental board part II if you are not planning to enter a US dental school. You should get at least 90 or higher. Step 1 and 2 are required by most US dental schools. It is getting hard and hard to get in US dental school now. You must get very good scores to be accepted. The acception rate is 1:10. If you are not planning to study in US school, you need to pass step 1 and 3. Then you can apply for dental license in state you wish to practice. Some state may need TOEFL score. There are only few states can grant foreign-trained dentists licenses to practice dentistry. Like CA state. You are better to enter US dental school to get a US DDS degree so you are free and safe to practice anywhere in US. But it is hard... ....... More later...... DDS
