叶水清校友主编的关于生物信息与生物医学中的大数据分析的新书出版

叶水清校友主编的新书《生物信息与生物医学发现中的大数据分析》（Big Data Analysis for Bioinformatics and Biomedical Discoveries）最近由CRC出版社出版。

大数据分析是伴随计算机计算能力不断提升而兴起的一项新的技术，广泛用于石油勘探，生物医学，市场营销，股市分析与金融，政府决策，反恐与国土安全等领域，几乎无孔不入。

叶水清校友是湖北医学院（现武大医学院）74级学生，79级研究生，后留学美国芝加哥大学获博士学位。他在生物医学信息与分子生物学方面有极高的造诣，曾任职于John-Hopkins大学，芝加哥大学。目前是University of Missouri-Kansas City医学院医学遗传与分子医学的讲习主任。

叶水清校友曾与2000年任湖北医科大学（武汉大学医学部）海外校友会会长，为海外校友会的发展做出了重要贡献。
